Bar Jack (a.k.a. "Skipjack")
Bar Jack are schooling fish found in the water column. The jacks are a rapid swimming family of fish, however the black and blue border on the dorsal that runs to the lower lobe of the tail makes the positive identification of this jack quite easy. Although we have more photos available displaying darker coloration, this picture displays specimens similar to those found in Pensacola.
